OK enough of the landscapes, back to birds for today. A chance encounter with this Treecreeper during our visit to the Lakes over New Year, no tripod/monopod and pretty dim light but managed this one sharp(ish) shot!!

Have a great Sunday and thanks for the recent C&Cs.

The mossy tree is just a superb prop to show the Treecreeper off to best advantage.

Lovely plumage detail/tones and good catchlight in the eye, Andy. Perfect capture of this super little bird in such attractive natural surroundings. One I would love in my PF but have never yet been lucky enough to get a decent image - perhaps one day, fingers crossed !

Missed this one (must have been out and about that day), what an absolute stunner - very, very well taken.
