Whenever I go for a walk in Great Wood I always pop by this decaying / rotting tree stump to take a look and sometimes take a few shots, which is what I did yesterday.
Initially all I saw was the wide angle view of the whole but on each subsequent visit I am discovering loads of different angles and compositions.
The only slight problem is it's shady location, so even on such a bright & sunny afternoon like yesterday I was down to 8 seconds on ISO 200.
