Great sky, beautiful colours and I like the layering effect on the mountains. While the lights at the bottom are nice, I'm not sure they're enough to justify all the gloomy blackness at the bottom. Maybe you could have used an ND grad to bring a little more detail out?

Thanks for feedback. Yes you are right Chris an ND grad would have improved things, unfortunately I only had a very badly scratched one at the time so left it out in favour of a Polarisor.

Have you tried cropping the bottom portion to make it more panoramic and therefore losing some of that black? I know you'd lose the lights from the village but to be honest, I didn't notice them straight away.
