We had the joy of visiting a remote tibal area that was producing organic crops. This lady was preparing millet by the shade of the thatched hut.

Excuse the poor quality. Mmm. It seems to have deteriorated a lot when reducing the file!

Hi Ben, i think its a nice image placing ger in her environment.

i have done a mod which i feel lifts it slightly, i could be wrong, i added contrast to the image as a whole. selected around the lady and feathered then applied some brightrnin through levels to the background as i felt it added a litlle bit more depth when there was something you you focus on a little behind her. (might be wrong, its happened before!) then pushed the exposure on the whole thing for a little more brightness.

Cheers Alan! That is really helpful. I'll try doing that the original RAW image too and see what happens. I like the mod.
