Here's my second version of a "Tribute to Kitsch" photo. I edited this version to give it a "darker" feel and I applied my first overlay attempt ever (I found a tutorial on overlaying on the EPZ site and thought that I would give it a whirl). Anyway, I hope you like it, and this time I am remembering to click the "mod allowed" button since both Martin and Paul made an excellent mod of my last image.
Colour desaturated, Noise Added, Contrast bumped up

I like the grainy process and the eye contact, very beautiful, prefer V1, it tells more of a story!

Thanks all! I am leaning towards version 1, but I am wondering if it's because it's my first overlay attempt and I am excited about it. Sometimes when I learn something new in PS, I really like the effect to begin with, then over time I learn a better technique to apply and I become not so fond of my initial edit. We'll see how I feel about version 1 in a month or two!
Thanks again all for the comments and votes.
Thank you kiddsta for the b&w mod. Well done, I really like it!
Regarding Freybird and Hoffy's comments on the overlay, I agree that something isn't quite right about it. Maybe it's the angle of the gate? Should be less tilt to it perhaps? That's what I am thinking.
