This is the fruit of the large vine from yesterday. I suspect it is a type of squash, but I'm not sure of the variety. So far it has borne three.
Interesting fruit Joline.
I sent a link-- I think this will make wonderful pies, etc-- lucky you!
You'll have to eat it. I had some strange squash just appear in my garden a few years ago and it produced hundreds of similar like squash. They were very good too.........
Are you going to eat it, Joline? Very interested to know what it really is, and whether it tastes as good as it looks Carol
Looks like a prize winner to me Joline.
That would be a triffling or a trifflet then . I like your alternative title, a play on the words of a film - 'Borne Three'
Trust our Dave to see the word play!
This is quite a plant - is it ripe as it is?
I'll be interested to see if it ripens further
or if you upload an image of a soup or pie!
Nice one, Joline, great title.
