Looks very 'Norman' with it's tall keep - reminds me a little of Rochester! Past it's glory days maybe but some wonderful history none the less! Perhaps would of liked to have seen it from a side on angle to give more of a 3D effect.. but just my thoughts ![]()

Thank you Aidan for your comment. I had the kids with me and only realised following Sarah's comment that I had not managed to complete a full circuit of the Keep
. I didnt take any pictures from within as I found managing a 2 and a 4 year old on the Stairs pretty challenging. However I am putting it down as a "Research trip"
to be redone with the benefit of hindsight![]()
