Well I looked at my photos from the class Shapes Hunt from the other day and couldn't find many without children on... they do get in the way when you're in a school ![]()
This one is of part of the Trim Trail in the infant playground, heavily cropped due to aforesaid subjects. My first real attempt at an abstract so it'll be interesting to know what people think. And hold your horses - I've got a shot of part of the shelter for tomorrow's upload. I hope you can contain yourselves!
Thanks for your time and comments as always, much appreciated.

Well done Rach. Saw this and knew immediately it was yours!!!
Helen
The diagonals of the shadows is what makes this stand out. Well seen.
Anne
For me this is all about the tension between the objects leaning one way and their shadows leaning the other and, as Anne says, the diagonals make the image stand out.
I've attempted a very quick mono conversion simply because by removing the colour the shapes and contrasts are forced to work together! If anything I could have darkened the shadows a little more.
Best wishes,
Bill
