The Hamilton Camera Club in Hamilton, ON (Canada) and as this my local camera club is having a CLINIC ASSIGNMENT on 25TH March 2012.
Thus since I captured some interesting illustrations I have decided to feature a collection of the three illustrations, and so I went to Google Canada to find information about this form of post-production.
Similar to the recent uploads accept I need three illustrations using my Pentax *ist DL2 with the Pentax 18-55 mm with the Silk Able 300 dx tripod, Pentax Cable Release and the Hoya R72 Filter.
The POST-PRODUCTION:
- Open the RAW capture in Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2
- Using the Channel Mixer the Red Channel to 0 leaving the Green alone and Blue to 100
- Using the Channel Mixer the Blue Channel to 0 leaving the Green alone and Red to 100
- Saved in Adobe Photoshop default format
- Closed the file in Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2
- Open the Photoshop file in Adobe Photoshop Elements 7
- Under Auto Level Command
- Resized to 10 x 12 inches
- Various setting using the UNSHARP MASK
- saved in Adobe Photoshop default format
for the each of the three illustrations.
Once I had three illustrations I followed the techniques mentioned at triptych pdf to create this TRIPTYCH.
With one small difference I allowed my file to be larger and once completed I added a one inch border in black and then increased the top and bottom border in black and used the UNSHARP MASK to make the entire illustration feel like single state and saved as TRIPTYCH come in Adobe Photoshop default format.
The last step was to resize to 600 x ? pixels and then saved in JPEG format upload to this site.

I see you used a R72, but these don't look infra red - wrong subject really as you will get very little, if any, infra red from trees with no leaves. I would have expected the blue of the sky to be much darker though. It looks like you have processed most of the infra red effect out of them.
I'm not keen n these triple presentations - too small for sites like this. But they do need to tell a story - OK, all three are trees, but do they fit together?
