A wonderful carved tree trunk just outside our cottage in Connemara I just went in close and then gave it this filter in lightroom

Very different expressions on each of them. I particularly like v2. He seems to be carrying a big weight on his shoulders but has somehow come to terms with it.

I like them all, Mavis, but particularly V4, though V2 is nice for the context. What is nice is that the carving is subtly done, almost as if the faces were already there, and not carved, if you know what I mean. Lovely grain in the wood.
