Todays upload was taken at the weekend in Bridlington.............. Thought this collection box could do with a lick of fresh paint![]()
Taken in manual mode as the last upload was, trying to get to grips with this setting, read up on it in my photograghy book and got more confused ( i am not that good at remembering figures in my head so I wrote down some recommended settingsto put in camera case for reference.......... (nothing to do with this image) It said f/16 and shutter 1/6th second for views to get everything in focus.................... but I can only get my camera up to f/8![]()

Quote: Nice one Diane. Lovely texture with the rust. Theres a few of these about. I know of one about 6 miles from me. Often wondered with all the rust how they got it open for the contributions
Jim
Yeah I was thinking this.............. Wonder if it is full![]()
Diane
Lot of rust Diane, glad it's not mine! Glad it's not mine
get it ho ho ho, please ignore me and put it down to my age. Good composition and exposure.
Regards
Trev.
I always wonder when it was last emptied whenever I see it?
Dave
Bridlington eh? Used to go on holiday there regularly when I were a lad!
It certainly could do with a lick of paint ( the mine that is, not Bridlington town centre!), but it's given you some fine textures and tones here, Diane ![]()
