I love the flower photography of both Imogen Cunningham and Robert Mapplethorpe ~ and they are the inspiration behind this image.

The tulip is one that was growing in the garden. I didn't want to pick it so I placed a black card behind it and used a reflector to enhance the light.
V2 shows the original flower before the mono conversion.

Many thanks to Keith (Niknut) for helping out with my RGB problem yesterday. Happily, I seem to have sorted it now. Turns out I was assigning sRGB when I should have been converting! All still about as clear as mud but it does seem to be working okay Smile

Thanks for looking,

Judith

Both nice versions Judith although mono looks better, it highlights the shadows more.
