Malaysian Flying Frog trying to hide in a tulip flower...as if!
After a quick spray to keep him moist, away he went
This frog is bigger than the others I have been showing you.
Thank You all for the C&C's on the Nile Crocodile
glad you liked him![]()
Not around tomorrow, an early start to the day out... so enjoy your day
Lillian

Myself Lillian I do not think this is as successful as your other awesome uploads, I find the flower very dark and the frog squashed in there, the exposure is very good on the frog, after the other stunning captures they take some beating.
Regards
Trev.
I think it quite wrong that this guy should be thought less of because he isn't so colourful, there's no place for colour discrimination in here! Joking aside, this is a lovely image of yet another delightful creature tucked up in a luscious black tulip.
Superb shot Lillian, fantastic details and colours, quite amazing

Quite unusual, Lillian. Think I'd be on my way, too, if someone sprayed me!
Excellent quality work as we've come to expect from you ![]()

Well theres a sight you don't see everyday!!! Fantastic capture Lillian. The dark tulip works well here too had it been bright it would have taken away the focus from the frog, by using a dark coloured flower the images remains balanced with the frog being the more colourful subject and focus of your attention.

The little fella does look somewhat uncomfortable in there, Lillian. The dark purple of the tulip adds a regal feeling to the image. However on my screen it appears very slightly oversharpened - although that can be down to my new vari-focus glasses!
Enjoy your day out![]()
Malc
hehhe there is a cuteness here Lillian in the way the frog's curvature matches that of the petal he/she is laying in nice one

I am glad that some of you are liking this little frog, as his name says
flying frog...and this is where he wanted to be, and he is a beautiful little frog,
and has weighted the petals down more than the others as a little larger,
as in life, we are not all colourful, but have a beauty about us.. as do the critters...![]()
I am trying to show all the various types of these that I did on my macro day with Angi_Nelson
no matter what they are, so enjoy the variety, and against the black tulip..that was hard one to get right
Lillian
This is really well controlled exposure Lillian, nice and sharp too. Yes, it lack some of the cuteness factor that some of the more colourful or teensy frogs have, but as you say - variety ![]()
He is in an unusual position, which just had to be caught on camera and shared in my opionion.
Well I like it Lillian, although this may give a certain Welshman quite a fright!
