My first time ever at an American football match. Not so easy to capture, I found. Instead of running with the ball in places where I could capture them, they tended to just pile players on top of each other. Very messy. ![]()
Anyway, I quite liked this one. I hope you do, too.
Only cleaned it up a little, gave it a square crop, and gave it a few very minor tweaks.
But do let me know what you think of it. Critique/comments and mods welcome!
(Oh, and don't forget to read what happened to me at the game in my blog entry of today: "Where The Heck Is The Ball?"!)

so what do you think of american football???>< great action shots, Chuck
Great action shot, cant change it really with a mod. Nice shooting. Chen.
Chuck - my blog says it all!
Peter - When I was looking at the photo on my pc, that's exactly what I thought. For the fellow with the ball it seems obvious, he must be looking at the line he wants to cross. But the other two? No idea. I don't understand everything about the sport yet. Still learning.
The fellow with the ball is a runner, aand the teamate in blue is trying to stop the fellow in red from tackleing him, and prevent them from scoring, Im guessing its simalar to soccer with the passing and such, hope this helps some, Chuck
That does help a bit, Chuck. But what are they all looking at? I'd at least expect the Amsterdam Crusader (the one in red) to be looking at the Wildcat with the ball, if he intended to tackle him. Still a bit of a mystery. But thanks for the explanation so far!
And thanks to you, too, Carmen!
from the picture and not being there Id ponder to guess that the fellow in red was looking for 2 things, where the players were running towards the goal line and where was his teamates to give him help,, Chuck
