wow, i think you really wanna try a lensbaby. thanks for the great feedback, joe!
goshdarn it... what a great stock shot.. im envious... wish i had a lensbaybee
PERFECT use of the lb. Makes it look irresistably tasty.
(no way I'm going to click those asparagus and red peppers from yesterday though... yuk... hate the stuff, no matter how good the photo ;o)
beautiful image - the lighting and composition are great - i could definitely see this in a top quality food magazine or recipe book
i'm not one for eating mushrooms but looking at this makes me want to =)
i've decided in the past day or so that soft focus photography is definitely my favourite - i like sharp images but i feel there is far more atmosphere and feeling when the focus is shallow
keep up the stunning works
peter "morpyre" turner
The blur, which gives a motion feel, created by the lensbaby seems to suggest that the mushrooms are tumbling out of the pot. Cooking in progress. Julia
Lucie - top class work. Could easily see this in a gigh quality cookery book. John
Lovely picture, Lb seems works very well with this kind of subject.

thanks, everyone! i didn't expect such a good response. i honestly have to say i had no idea if it was any good at all.
i did like the composition and the light, but wasn't sure if the mushrooms looked like anything i might ever want to eat.
strange thing, perception.
