I hadn't been out for months and thought it about time to excersise my shutter again, so i headed to Sharkfin cove about 2 hours from my house, there was nothing happening in the sky cloudwise so i concentrated my efforts on the Waves and tried to convey the power of the sea in this shot.
I was perched on top of a cliff and reached down to the beach with my Tamron 90, this is virtually uncropped and uploaded as seen in the viewfinder, the sun was setting to my right lighting the forground rock on the right with some nice warm light and reflecting off the far rock wall onto the sea.
Timing was everything here as with most oceanscapes, i waited till there was a wave slapping the rock on the beach whilst at the same time another wave was washing off the ledge to the top right of the shot.
Like i said, i hadn't been out for quite some time and had forgotten what fun is to be had behind a camera, i will be out again soon for sure.
