For me, commissions are all about exceeding a client's expectations
Wik (polish spelling of Victor) got in touch to get his TVR Tuscan S photographed - but in an industrial or derelict setting... .rather than a moorland or sunset...
So A few places in Leeds sprang to mind... I just knew as soon as he said "orange" that Granary wharf would be perfect. Orange brick, blue lights.
Anyway - after about 6 exposures he was purring like a kitten (not unlike the car) and is deliriously happy; expectations massively exceeded
Good day at the office....
You can see feet on the right and some blobs of flare....leaving those in to add to the vibe of the shot....
Superb shot and treatment!,,regards Ian
Thank you so much fro the detail exif, and what a result, simply very high quality, amazing composition, and certainly one that got my heart thumping.
P.S. The mysterious trainer clad feet add that little extra
Ooo lovely, grand image with fabulous potent colours.
Fantastic image Ade, love it.
Excellent stuff Ade.
Love the shot and contrast in colours with the light flares adding to the image but the feet I'm not sure about.
Wicked shot Ade & nicw wheels. I too could live without the feet & I might have staightened the verticals but cracking stuff.
did a version with straight verticals and it didn't look as good... kinda skewed the car a bit in the process and didn't feel right really.
It's all about knowing the right location for the shoot with this image, you've done the client proud methinks Ade....Well done indeed!
Quote: did a version with straight verticals and it didn't look as good
A man after my own heart.
Artificially straightened verticals are (one of) my photographic pet hates.
They almost never look right and usually cause more problems than they solve.
A cracker, Ade, love the contrasting colours. Don't mind the verticals but not keen on the feet.
A stunner, just love the whole set up and the lighting is just to die for!
Love it - the positioning, the feeling of depth and perspective, the lighting, everything.
Snarly beauty Ade, like a Tuscan Princess.
