At the moment the temperatures in my darkroom are ferocious - I suffered for this photograph, I really did.
The sunlight was filtering through a tree which is why some of the twigs are darker than others.

How do you keep the chemicals at anywhere near the right temperature?? Your sacrifice has paid off here with an impressive and interesting image.
Good work Michael.

Easy, I didn't. The print developer was 27 degrees, but it didn't seem to matter .....but I think I lost a stone in weight! I won't be in a hurry to do it again. Thanks Guys.

Can't think of a clever reason why I like it but I do. I think its something to do with the root of this thing being so far to the left, leaving lots of black.

I sometimes (frequently, in fact) have difficulty pinning down what I like about certain photographs - which is why I click more than I comment. Don't feel obliged to come up with comment. Thanks Malcolm.

Love this, the light from left to dark on the right seems to leave the twigs suspended, awaiting all possibilities. Have bookmarked your portfolio to check out all the B&W, my favorite genre.

Jan

Cheers for the mods, I think in both cases her head gets lost in the grass though.
