I was very lucky to have a day along Glen Etive when the sun shone, a most beautiful and peaceful place. These two peaks caught my eye as I was driving back along the glen, I need to find out their names.
Thanks for looking
A wonderful scene, Andy, well captured. Carol
Hi Andy, nice one. Have you ever heard of the Tetons in the SW US? They're similar to these; Tetons is Native Indian for two tits, so very appropriate.
I first got into RT's music several years ago when I bought a CD called Beat the Retreat, a tribute album to RT by a variety of artists, I love it, and only recently dug it out. If you don't have it, I highly recommend it. I have a thread in the forum with a random selection of my fav youtube videos, music, that is. I put one on recently by Alison Krauss and Union Station, Dimming of the Day. I think it's my fav version of it. If you listen to her, use headphones, her voice is so delicate, angelic.+
A beautiful scene captured.
Lucky you to catch this in sunshine. Nice shot.
Beautiful scenery, you've captured it so well Andy.
Very cool capture,i love it.
A lovely scene
Beautiful scene, Andy and your photography has done it proud.
I believe your two mountains may be the "Herdsmen of Etive": Buachaille Etive Mòr and Buachaille Etive Beag.
Glen Etive has a River Race for kayaks every year, which I photographed one year (images on my website) - and I've never been more 'cream-crackered' in my life..!!
