Yesterday I visited the Philip-Lorca diCorcia Street Photography exhibition at the Hepworth, Wakefield. Well worth a visit.
I like the way this looks like a line of small windows that are reflected in the floor.

Minimalist, mindbending, and rather wonderful!

And I can see a panoramic crop lurking in there, as well as this broader view - missing out on the highly structured environment, but really going to town on the pattern of frames!

Very nice composition, but I would do a simple crop to eliminate the entire ceiling. I think it would make an even more powerful image.

A well Balanced composition, in my humble opinion. How about using the spot healing brush to take out the lights?

Another of your well seen and photographed images. Well done, Jade.

A really powerful image but I agree with Dudler, a letter box crop would work well here.

Hi All
I have tried the letter box crop - and love it! Thanks for the suggestion.

I like the ceiling.... I think removing the lights would be a slightly odd thing to do. I like the idea of the crop too.
It looks like an interesting building. Good photo.

My first thought on opening - everything so cool and regular, and then that anarchic ceiling going its own way. Keep the ceiling!

This is how you saw it and this is the way it should stay. I love those reflections in the floor which echo the pattern above. I like the spill of light onto the left wall and of course, the ceiling and little lights make the image more interesting. You don't need to crop out all the little details like that as they enhance the image, as do the gratings in the floor. The murky colours work well. I like this very much and would be pleased to have taken it.
