I considered myself very fortunate, to spot this Grizzled Skipper Pyrgus malvae, with the wings closed![]()
Just as the Common Blues were beginning to appear, I fear the sudden shift in the weather will knock them for six![]()
Rain here today, heavy at times & only 10C
Big hugs to Ann (pluckyfilly), for your generous U.A given to yesterday's upload![]()

Nice composition and pose of a rarer butterfly. Good neutral background.
Stunning detailed capture Adrian, before I started on this site I did not know the identities of any Butterfly or Moth, still a novice but learning from these awesome captures, thanks mate, who say's you cant teach an old dog new tricks.
Regards
Trev.
