Oooh, this is a bit special. No critique from me. I think it's fab. Perhaps losing the lit window in the ULC might tighten it a little but that's so minor it's hardly worth mentioning.

Julian that lit window was one of the things I was wondering abut. As the eye is drawn to the light I was wondering if it in this case is "good" or "bad". There is no "right" answer of course Smile

That upper floor window light maintains the randomness for me - without it I'd be seeing a face, with those two second floor lights as the eyes, and that would dominate the frame. Well I'm seeing the face anyway, but here there's a balance.

Please see my mod.

I'm not sure that the whloe of the dark area on the LHS really does anything for this so I've cropped it. I've also cropped the top to retain(ish) the proportions and remove the light source that's just out of the frame which I found to be a distraction.
I've also lifted some of the blackness using levels and the shadow/highlights tool.

Hope it's OK.

Bren.

Hi Bren, love your take on this! The light at the top was number two on my "hm..." list Smile Didn't see the one with cropping left but now that it is there I think it improves the balance in the image.

Thank you and thank you Julian for the second mod! The mods are such great learning! One thing that has not been mentioned is the car tracks - I was wondering whether to clone them out Smile
