Thank you for the comments (some really funny) on the pot calling the Kettle .....
There will be a few more from this great location, It is a challenge to get the shot as the lighting is varied to say the least, this steam train was in an almost dark shed and then pointing out to the very bright sunshine was difficult. I used the flash to get the detail of the engine and f11 at 1/8 at ISO 100, then processed in ps Raw and elements 7

You have done well
Looks like a great place to visit
Great shot, very well taken indeed, under what looks like difficult circumstances to say the least.
Hugh
Oh well, you've done a great job here, taking the picture against the light source, and got some great detail here in spite of that! Super pic,
Johanna
That's a very hard situation to get a good picture, Linda, and yours is really good. Nice one!
Dave.
A well-balanced image, you've mixed the lighting extremely well indeed... Dave
Very well exposed image, Linda, both light and dark areas have great detail, love the scene,
Adrian
Super exposure and processing, you've controlled this tricky shot perfectly.
Moira
Very nicely captured, in what are obviously difficult lighting conditions, Linda - well done. She looks a lovely little engine, hope we see more of her!

Well controlled image Linda - never easy to get as right as you have it here!
