The superb larger than life-size gilded equestrian statue of King William III (in Roman dress), known locally by his posthumous title 'King Billy', by Peter Scheemakers (1734), in the Market Place at Kingston upon Hull. The statue is grade I listed, putting it in the top 2.5% of 'listed buildings' in England.

Thanks for all the C&Cs on 'Wibbly Wobbly'.

Best wishes,
Philip

A beautifully composed, exposed and captured photograph Phillip. The point of view makes the image somewhat overpowering.

A strong perspective, Philip. 1 foot raised, he supposedly died of wounds received in battle.
