Just a few miles north of where I live in Cardiff is the wonderful area of ancient woodland known as Y Wenallt. Here Oak, Beech and Hazel grow in abundance over an area of 44 hectares and in spring the woodland is carpeted by Bluebells and Wood Anemone. It's a place I've known and loved for as long as I can remember. An early start was rewarded with some photogenic light and rich warm hues.
