An After and Before for you tonight.....
Version one has selective "orton effect" applied then run through neat image to reduce any noise.
Version two is the pure unadulterated version but appears to have "lost" some of it's impact. The light and colours of version one are more like I experienced on the day.
My preference is for the lead upload, but let me know what you think of each. Whichever you view, LARGE and F11 is bigger and better ![]()
Thanks again for your great response to last nights from Gibson Mill, much appreciated
Enjoy your Saturday night we're off out for a meal

The process has brought the colour alive in v1 but has lost a lot of the detail that shows up in v2 . Just my thought would have played around with the colour temp to see if you could have wormed it up Regards Charles

I do like the colours in V1 Mike but the clarity is there in V2,perhaps a combination of the two, retaining the detail from V2 but pushing the colours from V1,especially on that pretty moss on the bank, which for me would light the whole thing up enough.
A beautiful riverscape, such wonderful autumn colours, water movement and composition
