This is underneath South Parade Pier taken with my lovely original 1960’s Diana lomo toy camera. I used Fuji pro 400x and processed in C41 chemicals for the real cross processed effect. It was just so exciting receiving this film back
and I love the light leaks to the right as you look at it
Thanks as always
Diana

Much moodier than the previous upload - I think I prefer Friday's apocalyptic colouring, but this complements it well.

thanks again, yes the Diana produces unexpected results each time, it only has three apperture settings so will take a bit of getting used to and the fuji film cross processing does bring out the greens well in the lighter shots
I have just bought some expired Kodak now which comes out more blue when Xpro'd ..watch this space

Atmospheric photograph, redolent of the early days both the pioneering 1840s and one's own youthful efforts. You have nailed it with the word exciting.
In a pub I once opened a camera to load a film only to discover that there was one already in place. It did survive, after a fashion, and gave an effect like you have achieved here.........

This is superb. Exciting. Stopped me dead. Now I wish I had got a Holga in the Holga shop in Barcelona.... (since I gather there are similarities). I really enjoy accidental effects in photography, but mostly get mine in Photoshop. Envy - and aspiration! Thanks,
Sue
Bill thanks, I have heard so many of those stories since using this camera and people soaking the film in after shave and even urine.. I wont go that far though
I'll go one futher and call it thrilling even
SueEly go back and get one, you wont be sorry (or ebay)
Darkphotographer, your lomo stuff is a great inspiration and I enjoyed looking at all of them
thanks too Bob

Magnificent shot! I love the colors, and the whole grudge effect added to it.
Stunning, stunning, stunning - Three words which spring to mind when I see work of this quality - So creative
