Morning everyone !
Many thanks for your comments & clicks on my last up-load, very much appreciated !
Well the snow has arrived thick & strong through the night and is just getting heavier all the time, it's now about 8 inches deep, with no sign of letting up.
This shot was taken at the back of our house this morning of the river & viaduct at about 10.00am. Just had to return home then as the snow was getting heavier all the time.
Hope you like it - BEST LARGE !
Chris

Seriously cold!! Heard you were to get heavy snow. We are just freezing by way of a change but suspect we'll get our share of snow again soon. Went to top up all the feeders and the fingers and toes still haven't thawed out yet! Hope you don't get a lot more snow and manage to keep safe and cosy.

Very nice Chris.
You could also try a crop cutting out the viaduct. This would give a simpler composition focusing more on the river and trees.
Derek
beautiful, hope there is no camera jerk in extreme cold
Afternoon Chris, superb shot, it certainly looks as if you are getting the worst of the weather, take care and keep warm. No snow here as yet, but they do say we are going to get some, probably tonight if it does arrive :-(
Hugh
Love the slightly desaturated look, very effective - and very cold.

We have had no snow this time round (as yet), Chris.....sorry to hear what you are having to cope with, but at least a few good snow shots may be in the offing for you. Take care when out!
Like this almost mono picture as the early snows settle on the landscape. The image captures the coldness of the environment.
Ronnie.
Beautifully caught. Personally, I would clone out the light area in the very top LH corner
Brrrr.....that looks cold! You deserve a vote just for going out in that, Chris!
No snow here, lots of sunshine today, but it's bitterly cold outdoors.
