Wide angle distortion? - yep.
Over processed sky? - maybe.
Atmosphere? - bags of it.
the sky does dominate the comp both in size and impact, like it however
lol @ the description, sounds like this is just how you wanted it kris.
It certainly is Maddie - you have to let your imagination run wild once in a while.
Great shot, loads of impact. Terrific.
Very dramatic Kris...
love the sky - very dramatic
Stunning B&W, very dramatic! Click! Judit
Fabulously moody shot love it Kris!
Loads of atmosphere, but a bit too much for me
Lol - no problem Martin.
Thanks for your comments folks, always appreciated.
Very spooky - love it!!!
I like dramatic skies and I definitely like this - great shot
Love this shot, is it just me or can anyone else see the face in the cloud's ?
This is rather dramatic
Many thanks all.
No, I can't see a face but I'd love you to point it out if you can.
Looks great to me ..Just dont ask me to meet you there after dark ...LOL
Lol - thanks Don.
Funny thing is I went down there a couple of nights ago to take some full moon shots - it wasn't scary at all......much :-O
Very atmospheric Kris, and I love that sky. I can see a face .... looks like a young woman with a snub nose and her mouth wide open. In the cloud, centre-top just off to the right.
Eeeeeek, you're dead right I can now - they do say it's haunted but I don't believe in all that malarky.....
Double eeek. Just me and she's a figment of my imagination, but if you can see her too then she must be real
I've done some research and seems my title was maybe more relevant than I first thought;
It transpires she is buried in the church yard....which is more or less at the bottom of my garden.... ;-0
Love the eeriness of it.
I can also see the face in the clouds, but when I first looked at this I thought it was odd that no-one mentioned the face on the headstone in the foreground...
You can only see the top half of the head and it looks like 'he's' wearing some sort of medievel head gear BUT when you view the larger image it turns out to be a symbolic cross of some sort..
Great atmosphere tho and these faces add even more to it!
Oh yeah I can see something resembling a face in the clouds. eeeeep :O
Glad it's not just me then - even 'tho it had to be pointed out to me.
And Craig must be on stronger drugs than the rest of us.
Your description is spot on/Particularly the atmosphere bit.
