This fella has visited a few times over the last few days, not sure if i should let him be or try to discourage him. This morning he tried to make off with the homemade bird feeder, which is an old butter tub, he got about 4 ft before he dropped it! A bit gutted didn't have camera in hand at the time.

V2 also shot this morning, am aware i need to crop out the leaf under his chin.

All C&Cs welcome

Thanks for looking

As long as he is not doing too much harm i would let him continue to visit, they can be a nuisance around a veg garden.

Like V1 better Den Smile

Hi Den, excellent image of a pesky Crow. I did a mod on your image on PS CS6. I tinkered around with highlights, shadow and clarity, which has enhanced the feathers on the bird and gave it a slight crop. Hope you like it.

Bit of a messy eater. Wouldn't want to deter him, he could provide that shot Grin

Am optimistic, however the tree he's on is only maybe 7ft outside the kitchen window, the challenge is getting to it without spooking him.

Beautiful close-ups!
Great feather detail, especially in the eye.
Sam.
