The final image in this series taken on my holiday on the Grand Union Canal in the West Midlands back in early March. This upload especially for Shadow Saturday was taken on the last day of my holiday early in the morning when there was a hard frost and there was still ice on the canal.

A seat to view the world go by - and lovely reflections.
The shadows just help to emphasise the lovely light.

A wonderful shot Ed, so sad to see this series end as I have enjoyed it, the ice you can see on the canal bet you did not sit on that bench to long in the cold

I like the contrast of shadow and light in this one, and the reflections of course.

The frost of the roofs and on that bench add to the icy waters, Ed. Good job you didn't have the shivers taking this!
This has been a great series, and a tempting advert for a canal holiday.
