This is properly my favourite image I've made in a long time. The idea was to create an ancient creature made of wood. Started out as a self portrait and then I went and photographed hundreds of bits of wood to make up the face.
Literally took about 4 days of editing none stop to complete.

What a great pic...is it art or photography?
is there a word for this kind of mix as it's something I do quite a bit of too...
Whichever it is then its one to be proud of.
My only critisism is I would like to see the eyes toned down a bit as once you notice them then thats all your eye keeps going to...but hey,!..thats just me..
