Really interesting technical note: an Alpha 55 works far better for this than my 900.
So maybe Sony are onto something with SLT cameras, for certain types of shot?

I'm afraid your shutter speed was too slow to freeze this action (I appreciate you did the right thing in shooting in aperture priority but, judging by your exif figures, not opening up to the full f1.7 has limited you to too slow a shutter speed) and your focus is on the wrestler in black's knees, rather than on the faces. It would be better if at least one of the faces was visible too.
Apologies if I sound overly harsh with this critique but if I point out all the bits where the image can get better, hopefully it'll help rather than not giving you any constructive comments at all.
