On our last day in South Wales we headed for the waterfall walks around Ystradfellte, just inside the Brecon Beacons National Park. Our guide for the visit came from the EPZ locations directory.

So this is the Upper Ddwli fall on the Nedd Fechan river.

Three images merged in Photomatix, ISO 100, f/8 1/8, 1/2, 2s.

Beautifully lit foreground, not sure about the top central area thats burnt out due to the suns rays. Also I like the composition, I was there a couple of weeks ago and took some shots of these falls. Still not had time to process them all yet.

Beautiful but I agree with Tony. I would certainly darken or clone it.

Great warm light across the foreground boulders and grasses, nice colour in there too. The falls in the bg are nicely muted but still very part of a great composition. Eell done.

All the very best

Cheers all for the comments. I shall have to have a look back at the original files to see if anything can be done with the Sun.

Propably agree with that, I think on occasion it can be used to add to the image, but in this case, it detracts from the focus of the falls. Otherwise tho, a strong image, nicely composed with good elements.

I like the light in the top middle, adds a slightly hazy feel to the shot.
