Smashing composition, Phil. That line of trees is especially attractive. This has almost the feel of Breughel.
I had no idea there was decent light anywhere in the U.K. today!

Bill

You couldn't paint a better line of trees, Phil. Excellent lead in to a wonderfully cold wintry scene.

That arc of trees is so perfect, it even leads down to the same focal point as the wall and farm.

Phil, is this a Brueghel or a shot of yours? ... Well, after writing this I wanted to see if someone else also found the resemblance, and now I know that I am not alone, Bill also felt the same. There are no hunters and their dogs, but at least their footprints can be traced on the snow.Wink FABULOUS in every way! Certainly a favourite.

Been up that path loads and never thought about that shot. Taken some from nearer rhe farm. I like the curve formed by the trees. By the way, some of the tracks will be my wifes as she walks our dog up there every morning. David
