Had a great day out with Brett Harkness a few weeks ago. This is one of the images from the day.
Location is central Manchester.
Model is Charlotte a dancer from Manchester.

Lighting: a flash with soft box to LHS and a bare flash behind.

Lovely work Rich, well lit too.

My main problem with this shot is those flies above her head lit up perfectly by the rear flash, I would clone them out as they detract from the shot.

Paul was not sure where to clone the midges our not, as it was shot at ISO 640 I am a amazed at the detail that the sensor has picked up.Thanks for your views.

I personally like the flies but I agree they should be removed for a fashion shot. Nice pose and lovely light. A

Maybe photographically the midges could be cloned out, but I think they add a little magic

Great image! Much better than many of the posed shots that I've seen!
The back lighting works well, as does the location.
We must not forget to mention the beautiful looking model either. She looks as if she'd be a pleasure to work with

TBH Rich I wasn't going to say it, but the flies make me think she's got a personal hygiene problem, which I'm sure she hasn't ... that was why I suggested taking them out Grin
