Just had 3 days down at Donnington at the Moto GP.
Never done any of this type of Photography before so i need help.
This ones come out ok but i didnt find it easy panning etc.
Iwas set up AV f8 at 1/500 ISO 200. 120/400mm lens at 400mm.
set on motor drive and continuous servo. Any advice would be much appreciated.

A very nice sharp shot, what a rider he is, from falling from the lead, them to finish 5th,!!
This shot, looks sharp, with great movement and colours but bring the shutter speed down a little to get that extra uphh!! in the shot
scott
Thanks for that scott. as i say im prepared to take anything on board.wharmby![]()
think you done a great job, panning aint easy thats why you don't see it that often. i take loads and dump most of em.
for some who says it needs to criticed well all can says jammy b*****d
I like to think I am not bad at panning but bin most of mine.
Normally the shutter speed would need to lower to get the movement but this is just fine, the real secret to panning is to keep doing it and know most will be rubbish.

Nice shot, you must have been standing very near me, strangely i have just uploaded the same shot. Hope you enjoyed donington as much as i did.
Thanks for all your kind comments, really gives you a lift wharmby![]()
You'd be hard pushed to find anything wrong with this Dave. It's a cracker!

Wouldn't change it Dave. Shutter speed looks spot on as you've got movement in the wheels, and the background is nicely streaked too!
One to be proud of I reckon. Bet you had a cracking time as well!
