I like the strong foreground interest, the lovely cloudscape and the interesting skyline.
I don't like the uncorrected camera tilt.
With a trivial bit of digital manipulation, to correct the tilt, this could be a great shot.

have had a go at a mod..straightened the horizon and opted for darkening (although there is a lot of background detail which could be used)...think I prefer the silhouette look....but you may not Smile

I've been here a few times!
I've also straightened and moved the horizon but I've attacked the buildings using CS5. Firstly plain old "Autotone" then a tweak in shadows/highlights including a bit of contrast.
I reckon a lot of what's in there has been lost in the resizing etc. for your original upload. It might be an idea to revisit your original shot?
Hope this helps.

Bren.

Edit; I should have removed the yellow spot in the water. ("Diver down" buoy perhaps?)

Doesn't work for me, I'm afraid, and I think you're onto a loser. You're trying to photograph the town but the sun's behind it and no camera in the world will cope with the difference in brightness between the bright sky and reflections off the water and the shaded faces of the buildings. This is a shot to attempt at a different time of the day, when the sun's off to one side.
