Not much of a story to this one, guess it is up to the viewer to interpret one.
This young lady is called Sam and she was pleased to bump into me at Whitby on one of the Goth weekends. We took some shots to one side and I went with this one because I felt the most emotion from it.
The wall and stairs on the left are the at the beach in Whitby and the Graveyard is just like show (I didn't add the graves) in a town just near Whitby, think it was called Staithes. The sky I shot on the moors at Goathland.
So three photos, into one image. 6 hours development, 34 layers. I am defiantly getting faster at creating these composites and wiser at selecting the base photographs. I don't seem to be wasting as much time messing around trying different things out.
Thought of the day.....use curves to repair the harsh light from the sun.

Great image. shows what can be achieved with time and a good eye!!
Excellent artwork, you are very skilled in photoshop, I plan to try more of this sort of image too ![]()
Quite unbelievable. I just love everything about this image, the composition, processing and feeling, such brilliant imagination.
Andrew.
A well worked and good looking image. Figure perfectly placed in the frame and I love the way she's hamming it up, trying to outdo Christopher Lee no doubt ![]()
If I had to niggle then I'd say that a few more gravestones to the right of the steps would add to the image ..... it just looks a little empty in that central area behind the figure?

I can totally understand where Dave is coming from, but I think do not crowed the image, as the space gives it a lot more atmosphere. But that is just my personal feelings.
