Hi Steve,
Image is nice, however the reds are very much over saturated to the point where detail in the carrots is being lost. Cant say if its something you did in post ptocessing by increasing saturation, or the camera is set to a mode that has heavy saturation.
To show the difference when red is reduced to a level where it doesnt "bleed" Ive loaded a mod.
Regards
Willie

Hi, Steve, I had fun reading your "About Me". Since you used a nice dark reflective surface here, I feel I'd like to see a touch more of the reflection, and also a touch more canvas around the sides of your veg still life. Nice light and detail throughout. I like the random feel of the composition, and also like the more natural tones in Willie's mod.
Pamela.
Thanks for the comments. Points taken re the colour saturation/bleed. For info, it was shot in my new "cube" tent with camera flash off and using the two external sources outside the cube - giving a soft box approach. Got to say that Banehawi's Mod version looks a lot better (IMHO) - esp the extra detail. The reflection was obtained by using a sheet of thick glass on a black towel. Thanks again for the advice.
The mod to the colours is much better. Another light shining down from the front to bring out the reflection on the right will finish it off nicely
