It's no different to our rain really...it's just as wet! On the Monday it rained almost non-stop all morning and until late afternoon, but at least it didn't pour down and allowed us some different shots. I didn't notice at the time of taking, but everyone in V1 seems to be heading in the same direction! There weren't many people out in gondolas, but we did see some on our travels.

I like them all but especially V1, you were at the perfect angle to capture this - great how the people all scurrying off in the same direction and your processing has worked a treat here Trev! Like it very much Smile

V3 is lovely, and V1 is a bit like my animal shots, they turn and walk away from you, but it is very well captured with super architectural detail with the colours of the umbrellas just lifting the image. Altogether a really good set - Carole

V1 is just brilliant. One of your best Trev.
V2 and 3 are also really nicely done and they make a really excellent set.

Wet enough for the ducks!
V1 says it all, really: it's as if everyone is being blown along by a gale. Ably supported by V2 and V3.
Excellent tones and very atmospheric.
Regards
Bill.

Despite the weather you have captured some fine images here, Trev: as you say, the fact that all are headed in the same direction in V 1 allows a great shot of all the brollies, rather like Sky dishes, all angled the same way.
V 2 and 3 are quite similar but given the rain and wind the presence of the couple shielding themselves adds to the impact of the shot, while V 3 in itself is a very nicely balanced scene.
Ronnie.

The umbrellas create the interest in V1. Amazing to think about that, with such wonderful architecture, but they make the picture.

Think the processing works so well in these shots Trev. Excellent set of shots and love every one of them - you even got my favourite street lamps in them Grin.
I remember us trying to keep dry under the walkway bit. I also remember what we had afterwards to heat ourselves up a bit - culinary works of art yumyumyum. Moira
