This photo demands attention. It makes me look and look and look at it trying to decide what it is saying. Your title 'Deflated' doesn't seem to sum up the story, because the baloons are edeflated but it looks so much more than that with the woman and the mask. Is seems more like it a fear of aging... I have no idea but I do think the photo is a wonderfully strong image with fantastic contrasting colours. It really works for me. Jude
The colour saturation of the balloons against the dark blue makes this one stand out from the metaphorical crowd!

The picture has absolutely no meaning - none of my pictures have any meaning as I'm a very shallow person and interested in the image rather than trying to convey any message
I'm quite happy however for people to attach whatever meaning they like to them
