I liked the similarity beyween the roof line and the distant mountain here. What do you think?

A very nice iew.
(I might have cropped the foreground and just kept the apex of the roof which you rightly said echoes the shape of the volcano.
Your horizon is leaning a bit.) JNC

The unusual viewpoint works well. There's a perfect contrast between the blue background and the sun glistening on the tiles in the foreground.

I like this a lot and think you needed a fair bit of roof to show the echoing shapes. dorothy

That is such a simple and eye-catching composition. You may want to consider a slight anticlockwise rotation and I wonder how a B&W version might work with these simple lines and shapes?

How come we don't see the obvious until somebody else points it out. It does need some rotation as mentioned above. I wasn't too sure about how much roof to keep but decided in the end to stay with the original shot.

Thanks for the comments.
