This is Victor the Polar Bear who arrived at Yorkshire Wildlife Park earlier this month from Europe

Victor is 15 years old and has been retired from the European breeding programme, where he was a “Super Dad” – siring 10 cubs.
Victor is one of the biggest Polar Bears in Europe at 500 Kilogrammes.
When he stands up on his back legs he is over 3 metres tall…

He is in a massive enclosure and I struggled with the 300mm lens. These images are small cropped areas of the full frame

nice set of images , no doubt it busy at moment there due to the new attraction , think i'll wait till the schools gone back , though no doubt a few schools will of arranged trips to visit victor
