Inspired? If you are Wordworth fan, you perhaps know this place well, and could tell us more. It was said that this view, over looking the lake, inspired Wordworth and he wrote a lot poems.. It's pity that photos are not allowed inside the house, so I took a few 'pitiful' photos from the garden. The light was not very good, some HDR, some single. I found that the chimney with stones was interesting, especially the ones against strong light, silhouette version, looked like two birds...Inspiration or hallucination? Grin Thanks for looking, critiques are welcome.
V1 Over looking the lake.
V2 The cottage back door to the garden.
V3 The view from the roof.
V4The front of the cottage.
V5 A chimney with two stones.

A great set of shots that bring back happy memories of our holiday in Grasmere in 2008.

Beautiful. I would have loved Wordsworth if he hadn't been forced into my head at school. Beautiful scene.
