I see these signs every day and have never really looked at them before. The V1 of my own village was taken through the car window as its right on a sharp bend and I couldn't get out to capture it, but the others I could get out and get a bit closer. There are more around the area, so I will keep the camera in the car and snap the ones I see over the next few weeks. Thanks for all the C+C's on my pictures of the carvings, I don't know who the sculpture is I must try and find out. Trish

Mmmm something familiar about these Trish. Fine interesting record shots. Makes you wonder about the background to the designs.

A good selection of village signs, Trish. There is a beautiful one in my old village of Findon, back in the Uk, but a little too far to travel to photograph it! Carol

We just have the every day mundane ones.
These are all very lovely but really like V4.

What an interesting set, Trish...much better than the boring rectangular b&w all-look-alike ones around my area! Like V4 best - look forward to seeing more.

Haven't seen any pics of village signs for a long while. They used to be a very popular subject a little while back - perhaps you will start a renewed interest in them. Nice work. Andy
