An old Morris Minor photographed in Lincoln yesterday while I was at this year's steampunk event.
Good to see Bill, Janet and Alison again.

Marvellous memories with this one. We had one back in the sixties at The Daily Mail in Edinburgh, a pool car for reporters to drive, it was affecionately named "The Noddy Car" because it was much slower than the V8 Office car used for hurry up jobs.

Dougie

Sorry to ramble as usual.

I rather like the busy background here Pete, mainly because it looks as it the shot may have been taken at the time this wonderful car was on the road, with the older type building and that splendid phone box! A superb composition, well done!

Thanks all Smile
Classic not vintage? Cars were never my strong point - old then Wink
Dougie you can ramble on as much as you like under my photos...always a pleasure to read
Busy was intentional in this case Ann. I could have stepped back and used a longer focal length to just frame the car with less distortion but I wanted the other ingredients to be prominent. I felt the houses and phone box matched the era and are not something you can usually get when photographing these "classic" cars as they're normally in a field at some car show.
