Built in 1733 over the River Tay for General George Wade to create a network of roads to control the Jacobite uprisings.
It was designed and built by William Adam, who was the father of the more famous Robert Adam
A lovely image of a bridge I've crossed many times travelling between Kinloch Rannoch and Aberfeldy, but always when working and without a camera!
A lovely image Phil. Love the reflections
Beautiful image,& a blue sky
Amazing detail, wonderful bridge view, nice colours and reflection. Great bright daylight capture.
Nice shot of Wade's bridge - as you look at the bridge, the Black Watch monument is behind you; on the other side of the bridge to the left is the field where the Black Watch was originally formed. I lived in and around Aberfeldy for many years and never tire of visiting - especially when the weather is like it is in your photograph. Well taken and thanks for posting.
