up above Cowling is Wainman's Pinnacle , built near the edge of a now dissused quarry , it seems to have a few different stories as to why it was built , so i not get it wrong i supply a link so you may form your own opinions , the morning i took this it was cold and windy near the edge , but had a marvellous view when the sun came out , though at times it looked as though it might snow miles away on the distant horizon ,

An interesting shot. Am I seeing a touch of frost on the ground?

Great tones and textures Gwynn like the way the pinnacle is offset and not inthe center.

A good composition here Gwynn and interesting processing.
I'd like to see this location again and maybe you could do a couple of
different processes to compare.

Love the composition and colours in this, however your processing has left a rather pronounced halo around the monument.

Best Matt

An interesting shot, very soft sky with a halo around the pinnacle, I quite like the effect, stops it from being to stark! a balance between the two, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Mad, such a "recent" monument yet nobody knows the true facts - how quickly we forget..
