Another from the 1940s weekend at Haworth. The sepia version in my previous upload Back to the '40s seemed to be the favourite, so here goes with another, and the original as V2.
Techie stuff: see Exif
Single Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Photomatix Pro and Elements 6

yes! V1 is for me ...
But what does this group look like ????
I bet they really had a load of fun....
V1 for me, too, is definitely better than V2.
Would like to see a real black and white version!
Once again I like both but admit the sepia toning does suit the vintage character of fine candid group shot, Trev. Each character is looking in a different direction but none at you interestingly.
V1 for me Trev, Timeless capture!
I know the trains run late Trev,
but to be waiting since 1940 beggars belief !!
Good sepia one,but I do prefer the colour.
Housewives, please finish travelling by 4 o'clock That's a new one!
Yes sepia for me.
v1 for me, the toning suits. think i'd be tempted just to clone/crop the backpack out. lesley
I might go with V1 today - beautifully processed, I do actually like both images but V1 just pips it for me
V1 suit this so well Trevor - love the expression on the lady farthest right!
I also like both of these Trev - mono giving it a more vintage feel. The two on the left are having a hearty conversations, but the other two - well, I wonder what's up with them!
Sandbags and all! wonderful.
Another winner Trev, and again V1 for me. Moira
V1 for sure, another great image
They're both excellent but v1 with the sepia toning gets my vote - I love the nostalgic feel you've captured here.
I like the sepia, Trev, but v2 has a faded antique colour to it which fits very well.
Hard to pick between them Trev V2 just pips it for me .

We will soon be having our annual 40's weekends here on the Severn Valley and look forward to the events. This is a super shot of the characters the events attract.
I think the sepia is a real beauty and works so well here Trev
the people are really taking part, and the woman on the right..sour lemons spring to mind
Nice to see they were not affected by the rationing
Love the sepia effect Trev,
Good work with the sepia tones Trevor
I like v2 very much - those faded colours are spot on
Plenty of interest to see here Trev. Glad you had a great day out....Phil
V1 for me Trev !! Cracking shot !!
